Ivory Aquino

Biography

Ivory Aquino is a Filipina-American actress known for her portrayal of transgender activist Cecilia Chung in the 2017 miniseries When We Rise. She has also appeared in the 2020 film Lapsis as Jo, and has had a stage career, performing in productions of Romeo and Juliet and Shakespeare plays with The Drilling Company. Aquino has spoken publicly about her own transition, including her experience with bullying and her journey to pursue her childhood dream of acting.
