Biography

Koichi Makigami is a Japanese musician, poet, and producer, known for his work as a voice performer and singer. He has released notable works, including "Hear the Song of the Wind" (1981) and "Hotspring Sharkattack" (2024), and has been recognized with awards such as the first prize in the big award "大岡信賞" in 2020 and the 2024 artist prize from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts in NYC.
