Biography

Richard Lindzen is a renowned American atmospheric physicist, best known for his groundbreaking work on the dynamics of the middle atmosphere, atmospheric tides, and ozone photochemistry. He was a prominent figure at Harvard University, serving as the Gordon McKay Professor of Dynamic Meteorology from 1972 to 1982, and later at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he remained until his retirement in 2013. Lindzen has also been a vocal critic of climate change science.
