Biography

Tomoko Hamakawa was a Japanese actress born on July 22, 1947. She made her debut in 1963 with a role in the film "Nakamanton", and later became a regular cast member in the 1969 TV drama "Profilé", adopting her professional name "Hamakawa Tomoko" from then. Known for her notable role as Mutsuko in "Tôkyô nagaremono" (1966), Hamakawa struggled with food poisoning in her later years, before passing away on March 12, 2012, at the age of 64.
