Biography

Carlos Martínez Baena was a Spanish-Mexican actor born in Spain and raised in Mexico, where he began his career as a journalist before transitioning to acting. He appeared in over seventy films between 1931 and 1970, with notable roles including "La diosa arrodillada" (1947). In the 1940s, he returned to Mexico after escaping the fascist regime in Spain, where he continued working as an actor until his final film at age 80.
