Daniel Monks

Biography

Daniel Monks is an Australian actor and screenwriter born in Perth, Western Australia, to a family of the performing arts. At 11, he overcame a spinal cord tumour with successful removal by neurosurgeon Charlie Teo, although it left him with partial paralysis. He later pursued filmmaking, studying at AFTRS and PAC Screen Workshops, before returning to acting with notable roles in "Ricky Stanicky" and "Sissy".
