Yvonne Okoro is a Ghanaian-Nigerian actress born to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother, making her of mixed lineage. She is the first child of her mother and fifth of all siblings, and showed an early desire to become an actress. Okoro received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ghana, and has won several awards, including the Ghana Movie Awards Best Actress Award in 2010.
