Biography

Frank Gifford was a professional football player and television sports commentator who played for the New York Giants in the NFL for 12 years. He won the NFL Most Valuable Player Award in 1956 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977. Gifford went on to have a successful broadcasting career, including 27 years as a play-by-play announcer on ABC's Monday Night Football, and was married to television host Kathie Lee Gifford from 1986 until his death in 2015.
