Michele Shay

Biography

Michele Shay is an American actress and stage director born in 1955 in Tuskegee, Alabama. She made her professional debut at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and later became a key figure in the Guthrie Theater stage company. Shay won an Obie Award for her performance in Meetings and was nominated for a Tony Award for her role in Seven Guitars, which debuted on Broadway in 1996.
