Rae Kathleen Kidd was a 20th-century American film actress known for her role as Rae Lane in the 1938 nudist film "Unashamed: A Romance." Born on June 15, 1917, she claimed to be a descendant of infamous pirate William "Captain" Kidd. Kidd's personal life was marked by a tumultuous marriage and later relationship with ventriloquist Rosslyn J. Cowen, with whom she had four children.
