Biography

Jan Koecher was a Polish actor born in 1908, active in the film industry until his death in 1981. He is perhaps best known for his role as Stanisław Moniuszko in the 1951 film Warsaw Premiere. In addition, Koecher played notable roles in The Ashes (1965) and The Doll (1968), including the prince in the 1968 adaptation of Henryk Sienkiewicz's novel Lalka.
