Biography

Elena Martín Gimeno is a Spanish filmmaker and actress born in Barcelona in 1992. She made her feature film debut with the 2017 drama Júlia ist, winning the Best Director Award at the Málaga Film Festival. Her sophomore feature, Creatura, premiered at Cannes' Directors' Fortnight in 2023, earning her a nomination for the Goya Award for Best Director.
