Biography

Zaki Fatin Abdel Wahab was an Egyptian actor and film director, son of renowned singer Laila Mourad and director Fatin Abdel Wahab. He graduated from the Cairo Higher Institute of Cinema in 1983 and worked as an assistant director on several Youssef Chahine films, including The Sixth Day. Zaki also directed his feature film Romantica in 1996, a biography of his life. He died in 2022 after a battle with lung cancer.
