Biography

Kristi Yamaguchi is a two-time Olympic champion and former competitive figure skater who won gold at the 1992 Winter Olympics, becoming the first Asian American to do so. She also held titles as World champion in 1991 and 1992, and U.S. champion in 1992. After competing, Yamaguchi won four World Professional Figure Skating Championships and later became a celebrity champion on Dancing with the Stars.
