Diane Rodriguez (June 22, 1951 – April 10, 2020) was a renowned American theatre artist known for her work in Chicano theatre. A co-founder of El Teatro de la Esperanza and Latins Anonymous, she used comedy to address issues of oppression, particularly gender and sexuality. Rodriguez was an OBIE Award-winning actress and director, with notable roles in "Which Way Is Up?" (1977) and with El Teatro Campesino, where she honed her comedic skills.
