Robyn Crawford

Biography

Robyn Crawford is an American author, producer, and former creative director for Whitney Houston. Born on December 17, 1960, in Newark, New Jersey, Crawford grew up in East Orange, New Jersey, amidst family struggles with abuse and HIV. Her relationship with Houston, which began at 16, spanned years and was marked by Crawford's devoted support and eventual ostracism by Houston's family and management. Crawford's experiences are chronicled in her 2019 memoir, A Song for You.
