Jayne Claire King is a British actress born on January 10, 1962. She has played notable roles in the ITV soap operas Emmerdale and Bad Girls, with her portrayal of Kim Tate in Emmerdale spanning ten years from 1989 to 1999. She also appeared in the fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2006 and later played Erica Holroyd in Coronation Street from 2014 to 2017.
