Jan Świderski was a Polish actor, film, and television personality, as well as a theater director and educator. He was known for his roles in the films and television shows "Popioly" (1965), for which he played General Sokolnicki. A versatile artist, Świderski also worked in theater and education, graduating from the State Institute of Theater Arts in Warsaw and later from the Higher Theater School in Łódź.
