Leisha Hailey is an American actress and musician born on July 11, 1970, in Okinawa, USCAR (now Japan), to American parents. She rose to fame as the lead in the Showtime Networks series The L Word and its spin-off The L Word: Generation Q, playing Alice Pieszecki. Hailey also has a music career, forming pop duo The Murmurs with Heather Grody and later Uh Huh Her with Camila Grey.
