Tony Briggs

Biography

Tony Briggs is an Aboriginal Australian actor born on July 3, 1967. He created the stage play The Sapphires, a true story of an Aboriginal girl group's tour in Vietnam during the war. A former track and field athlete, Briggs attended Scotch College, Melbourne, where he was Captain of Athletics and holds the school record for multiple events.
