Biography

Kabori Sarwar was a Bangladeshi film actress and politician, born Sarah Begum Kabori in 1950. She won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in Sareng Bou and served as a member of parliament from 2008 to 2014. Sarwar was also an active social worker and women's rights activist, supporting film festivals in her name.
