Biography

Jack Kirby was a comic book artist and innovator who revolutionized the medium in the 1940s and beyond. He co-created iconic characters like Captain America and the Fantastic Four with writer-editor Joe Simon, and later collaborated with Marvel on numerous titles, including Ant-Man, Thor, and the Hulk. His contributions to comics earned him recognition as "the King" among fans, and he was posthumously inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1987.
