John D. Collins, born John Christopher Dixon on December 2, 1942, is a British actor known for his frequent collaborations with writer/producer David Croft in six different sitcom series and ten characters. He graduated from RADA, winning the Ivor Novello and Robert Donat Scholarships, before running the Summer Theatre at Frinton-on-Sea and working with Spike Milligan in several productions.
