George Marshall

Biography

George Marshall was a prolific American actor, screenwriter, and director who worked in film and television for nearly six decades. He directed notable comedies with Bob Hope and Jerry Lewis, and collaborated with W.C. Fields, Jackie Gleason, and Will Rogers among others. His work on classic films like Destry Rides Again, The Sheepman, and How the West Was Won are still remembered today. Marshall was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
