Alison McGirr

Biography

Alison McGirr is an Australian actress born to Irish parents, split between Sydney and Ireland as a child. She graduated with a Fine Arts Acting degree from QUT in Brisbane, winning the prestigious Jennifer Blocksidge Award. McGirr's acting career began with a role on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, before appearing in the critically acclaimed Penny Dreadful.
