Ludmila Savelyeva

Biography

Ludmila Savelyeva is a Russian film actress and ballerina born on January 24, 1942. She achieved lasting fame in the role of Natasha Rostova in the six-year production of War and Peace (1966–68), for which she won a Diploma prize at the 4th Moscow International Film Festival. Savelyeva's notable roles include Mascia in Sunflower (1970) and Ivan Gromov's grandmother, former pilot, "Night Witch" in Tender Age (2000).
