Biography

Sondra Rodgers was a pioneering actress of American film and television. Born Fenella Jewell Rodgers in Kentucky, she transitioned from modeling to radio work in the 1930s, also performing in soap operas and theater productions in Europe. Her early acting experience included stock theater with Jessie Bonstelle in New York and Broadway appearances. She later directed plays at the Pasadena Playhouse.
