Biography

Albert Band was a French-born American film director and producer, son of artist Max Band and father of filmmakers Charles Band and Richard Band. He was a key figure in the production of the 1956 film "The Young Guns", a fusion of Westerns and juvenile delinquent films. Band later moved to Europe, producing a variety of films, including the Swedish release "Face of Fire" in 1959.
