Biography

Jordan Peterson is a Canadian psychologist, author, and media commentator born on June 12, 1962, in Alberta. He became a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto in 1998 and published his first book, Maps of Meaning, in 1999, combining psychology, mythology, and philosophy to analyze systems of belief. He gained widespread attention in the late 2010s for his views on cultural and political issues, often described as conservative and self-identifying as a classical liberal.
