Biography

Sara Joanne Rogers, born March 9, 1928, was a musician and the wife of television host Fred Rogers. She studied music at Rollins College and Florida State University, and met her future husband while attending Rollins. Rogers taught piano at Chatham College's preparatory school and later at Carlow College, and was married to Fred Rogers from 1952 until his passing in 2003.
