Biography

Janae Marie Kroczaleski is an American transgender powerlifter, bodybuilder, and motivational speaker. She holds a record in the 220 lb. weight class with a combined squat, bench press, and deadlift total of 2,551 lbs. A Marine veteran from 1991 to 1995, Kroczaleski transitioned as a trans woman in 2015, adopting the name 'Janae' and using she/her pronouns. Her experiences as a soldier and athlete inform her public speaking and advocacy work.
