Biography

Tyler Taormina is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and musician born in Smithtown, New York. He graduated from Emerson College in 2013 and co-founded the Los Angeles-based independent filmmaking collective Omnes Films with fellow cinephile friends. Taormina made his debut feature Ham on Rye, which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2019, followed by Happer's Comet in 2022, and Christmas Eve in Miller's Point in 2024.
