Biography
Calvin Lockhart was a Bahamian-American actor born Bert Cooper on October 18, 1934, in Nassau, Bahamas. He gained recognition for his roles as Reverend Deke O'Malley in the 1970 film Cotton Comes to Harlem and Biggie Smalls in the 1975 Warner Bros. film Let's Do It Again. Lockhart's acting career spanned multiple countries, including Italy, West Germany, England, and the US, where he appeared on stage and screen before passing away March 29, 2007.
