Mikael Wiehe

Biography

Mikael Wiehe is a Swedish singer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer born on April 10, 1946. As a key figure in the progg movement, he was the main songwriter and driving force behind the Hoola Bandoola Band. In the 1970s and 1980s, he led various bands and recorded with his friend Björn Afzelius, before becoming a solo artist. He continues to perform in Sweden, using his music to address social issues.
