Biography

Liliana Tomescu was a Romanian actress who achieved remarkable longevity and success in theatre. Over 30 years, she set multiple records for the number of performances in her plays, including "Pygmalion" with over 500 spectacles. At 35, she became the youngest actress to receive the "Artistă Emerită" title in 1964. She later fled to Sweden with her husband and became a naturalized citizen, continuing her career in the country.
