Biography

Taraneh Alidoosti is an Iranian actress born in Tehran, Iran in 1984. Her breakthrough role in "I'm Taraneh, 15" (2002) earned her critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Crystal Simorgh Award for Best First Role Actress. She won international recognition for her portrayal of Leila in "Leila's Brothers" (2022), as well as starring roles in Asghar Farhadi's films, including "Beautiful City" and "The Salesman", which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
