Theresa Mary May, Baroness May of Maidenhead, is a British politician born on October 1, 1956. She served as Home Secretary from 2010 to 2016 and became the UK's second female Prime Minister in 2016, leading the Conservative Party until 2019. May was first elected Member of Parliament for Maidenhead in 1997, after working in various roles before entering politics.
