Biography

Yoshihiro Hamaguchi was a Japanese freestyle swimmer who represented Japan at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, where he won a silver medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay and advanced to the semifinals of the 100m freestyle event. After his swimming career, Hamaguchi transitioned to acting, debuting in the 1955 film Buruuba as Tarzan and later appearing in the TV show Shōnen Jet.
