Camille Bonora

Biography

Camille Bonora, a native of New Jersey, was a talented puppeteer who performed The Muppets from 1985 to 1997. Her teaching influence extended beyond the Muppet world, as she helped introduce Joey Mazzarino to Jim Henson, paving his path to becoming head writer for Sesame Street and working on various Muppet productions. After retiring from performing in 1996, Bonora co-founded the Kairos Journal with her husband Emmanuel A. Kampouris, serving on its editorial board since its inception.
