Biography

Richard Edlund is a renowned American visual effects artist and inventor, born on December 6, 1940. He was a founding member of Industrial Light & Magic and has won two Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects, as well as numerous other accolades. Edlund's work has been recognized for its technical excellence, including Oscars for Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark. He has also co-founded several companies, including Boss Film Studios and DuMonde VFX.
