Biography

Robert William Flay is an American celebrity chef and television personality born on December 10, 1964, in New York City. He rose to fame after dropping out of high school at 17 and began working in the restaurant industry, eventually landing a job making salads at Joe Allen Restaurant. Flay has since appeared on Food Network since 1995, winning four Daytime Emmy Awards and earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
