Biography

Nelson Piquet Jr., born July 25, 1985, is a Brazilian stock car racing driver and former Formula One and Formula E driver. He was champion in the 2014–15 season. A test driver for Renault in 2007, Piquet was promoted to the race team in 2008, but a scandal involving a deliberate crash led to his career-ending ban. He currently competes in the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series and European Le Mans Series.
