Sebastian Junger

Biography

Sebastian Junger is an American author, journalist, and documentarian born on January 17, 1962, in Belmont, Massachusetts. He gained recognition for his book "The Perfect Storm: A True Story of Men Against the Sea" (1997) and his award-winning documentary "Restrepo" (2010), which chronicled his experiences covering the War in Afghanistan. Junger's work has also appeared on various TV documentaries, including "Hell on Earth: The Fall of Syria and the Rise of ISIS" (2017).
