Biography

Louis Sebastian Theroux was born on May 20, 1970, in Singapore to English mother Anne Castle and American father Paul Theroux. After graduating from Magdalen College, Oxford, he worked as a journalist before moving into television presenting offbeat segments on Michael Moore's TV Nation series. He is known for his documentaries exploring unusual subcultures, crime, and celebrity culture, primarily set in the United States.
