Biography

Martie Maguire is a Grammy Award-winning American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, best known as a founding member of the country band The Chicks (formerly Dixie Chicks). A national fiddle champion at a young age, she honed her skills in several instruments, including mandolin, viola, and guitar. With The Chicks, Maguire has written and co-written numerous chart-topping hits and contributed to the band's string arrangements.
