Barbara Eden is an American actress and singer born Barbara Jean Morehead on August 23, 1931. She rose to fame starring as Jeannie in the sitcom I Dream of Jeannie (1965–1970), alongside roles in Flaming Star with Elvis Presley and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. After I Dream of Jeannie, Eden appeared in dramatic roles and continued her work in film, television, and theater, both on stage and screen.
