Biography

Leo Jokela was a Finnish actor, best remembered for his roles as detective Kokki in Matti Kassila's Komisario Palmu films and parrot G. Pula-aho in Spede Pasanen's radio programs. His breakout performance came in 1960 with the film "Inspector Palmu's Error," where he sang a memorable song that would become his signature moment on screen. Jokela won a Jussi Award for best supporting actor for his role in "Tähdet kertovat, komisario Palmu" (1962).
