Michel Qissi

Biography

Michel Qissi is a Moroccan-Belgian actor, filmmaker, and martial artist known for his action films. Born in Oujda, Belgium, to Moroccan parents, he emigrated to Hollywood with friend Jean-Claude Van Damme in 1982 to pursue an acting career. They collaborated on several projects, including Bloodsport (1988) and Kickboxer (1989), before Qissi established himself as a fight trainer and choreographer.
