Biography

Šimon Caban is a Czech director, set designer, and theater/film creator, born in Prague on July 19, 1963. A founding member of the dance troupe Baletní jednotka Křeč with his brother Michal, he has collaborated on numerous productions, including the opera Candide in 2006 and its world premiere, Válka s mloky, in 2013. He also directed Offenbach's Orfea at the National Theatre in 2017.
