André Mattos is a Brazilian actor born on October 8, 1961, to Emílio and Zélia de Mattos, both theatre actors. He has appeared in numerous plays over 100 times as of 2010 and won the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Fortunato in Elite Squad: The Enemy Within. He is also known for his roles in O Quinto dos Infernos and Escolinha do Professor Raimundo, among others.
